Day 1: Nairobi – Amboseli

Arrive JKIA, you will be met by our representative, briefed on the safari and proceed south to Amboseli National Park. The scenery on this drive is predominantly of open wide spaces characterized by a sparse settlement system mainly along the road. You arrive at the lodge in time for lunch. Depart for an evening game drive till dusk. Dinner and overnight at lodge/camp.

Day 2: Amboseli National Park

Early morning game drive before breakfast. There are good chances to see Mount Kilimanjaro on a clear day early in the morning. Arid looking as Amboseli has historically supported both game and the Masai that kept their herds of cattle here. It is thanks to the waters that run off Africa’s greatest mountain that the apparently dry Amboseli, Kenya’s first game sanctuary is able to support its wildlife. Mount Kilimanjaro broods high over Amboseli, generally cloaked by clouds but appearing in all its snow-shrouded magnificence from time to time. The mountain now provides water for the park, wonderful views and, of course, the most glorious background for animal photography. Lunch at the lodge. In the evening proceed on a game watching expedition till dusk. On a clear day the Sun set in the Amboseli is simply out of this world. You have an option to visit the Masai Village (extra cost) to see their way of living and learn more on their culture.

Dinner and overnight at camp/lodge.

Day 3: Amboseli-Nairobi

Early morning game drive. Return to the lodge for breakfast. Depart for Nairobi to arrive in the afternoon. Drop off at the hotel for overnight booked on bed & breakfast.
